Corgi B-24 Liberator

Of all you who have collected Corgi B-24 Liberators which one is the best of the series that Corgi has made.

Re: Corgi B-24 Liberator

I like Strawberry Bitch, Pistol Packin' Mama, and RAF Coastal Command... if I had to pick one: Strawberry Bitch.

I like the "Coastal Command" and "Pistol Packin Mama" but my favourite is the "Daring Raids-Bomber Support".

"Daring Raids-Bomber Support".

Same here Gambit! This sticks with my RAF bomber scheme.

Leigh-Mallory and his big wings! Might as well stay on the ground for all the use they are!

Re: Corgi B-24 Liberator

Strawberry Bitch is a winner to me but I also have an unfair bias to that plane

Re: Corgi B-24 Liberator

"Strawberry Bitch" would be my pick as well. However, if eBay prices are taken into account, I would go with "Pistol Packin' Mama", which, for me is the best looking Corgi Liberator out there.

Regards,

Sergey

Re: Corgi B-24 Liberator

Strawberry Bitch is tops. There's something about not only the nose art and name, but that desert sand scheme as well.
#2 I agree is Pistol Packin' Mama. Great nose art, and all around colorful.

Re: Corgi B-24 Liberator

Strawberry Bitch is my pick. Much prefer the nose of the "D" model. Also have "Dragon..." which ain't bad, but the later nose turrent is ugly IMO. Am after the RAF Coastal Command one at the moment.

Re: Corgi B-24 Liberator

Strawberry Bitch. It is my only one. Like the early models over the H or J's. Also partial to this A/C as I remember it at the USAF museum when I was 9.

Sky Witch. Love the skull and crossbones with the OD paint.
