Re: Corgi B-24 Liberator

PPM, the only one for which I was willing to pay something close to full price. Love those red nacelle surrounds and yellow and black checks on the tail. Good art, too.

Re: Corgi B-24 Liberator

Strawberry Bitch is definitely the best. I would the RAF Coastal Command and PPM as close seconds.

Re: Corgi B-24 Liberator

I have three, Pistol Packin' Mama, Balls Of Fire, and the RAF 223 Bomber Support Sqdn models.

Of the choices in the poll, my favorites are:

1. RAF Coastal Command Lib (no surprise to anyone who knows me)

2. Pistol Packin' Mama

3. Strawberry Bitch

If anyone is tired of their SB I would be more than happy to trade my BOF for it!

Re: Corgi B-24 Liberator

I have yet to purchase a B-24 but I plan to pick up PPM soon.

PPM doesn't seem like a real popular plane (I don't know why) so I have been holding off to see if it pops up at one of my local Tuesday Mornings. Might just have to bite the bullet and pay full retail just to make sure I get one.

Re: Corgi B-24 Liberator

My fave used to be Jerks, but I recently got the Costal Comand and Strawbery bitch. Only seen the costal comand as the other is stuck at my parents home, so costal gets my vote (at the moment!)

I have to say I love the look of the D's. The turret on the H/J's i think unbalance's the look a little

Re: Corgi B-24 Liberator

Like everyone else, RAF CC, PPM and SB are my favorites. Although I don't have those, I do have YCMIT and Michigan due to some lucky scores at TM!

Hey Starman, how about a POLL on your favourite B-17s?

Re: Corgi B-24 Liberator

I keep hearing people talk about Tuesday Morning bargains. I have one near me, but they never get anything new besides a few History Channel pieces of armor...

How often do these bargains occur? Once in a blue moon or less frequently?

Thumbs up Re: Corgi B-24 Liberator

I'd have to say the RAF CC B-24 is my favorite and right under that the Strawberry Bitch.

Re: Corgi B-24 Liberator

Strawberry Bitch tops the list for me. I like the fact that it has a full set of guns. Waist gunners, ball turret gunner and a bristling set of nose guns.
