I have been trying for ages to win one of the 1/32 Elder Mustangs from choate76 on Ebay. I finally landed on a couple of weeks ago from another seller for about $5 more. Approximately $45.

Then in rapid succession I won two more as I was the sole bidder for these two:




As you can see Stinger VII is missing the radio mast. Both came without boxes and I had to do some minor repairs to the props.

Winning bid on each was under $40. So I now have three Mustangs from Corgi plus the El Cheapo P-51D from Target.



That probably is enough Mustangs for me, at least in this scale. If I buy any more they'll have to be 21st Century plastic ones as I don't think I can afford too many Corgis.

Very nice ships. I also have three P51s, both OCs and BBD. Do you have any 109s? If not, get one. I'll bet you'll be getting more soon thereafter. I have more 109s than anything else in 1/32 and its not even my favourite plane relative to Spits and Mustangs.

You have found how addictive the 1/32 scale is. Looks as though your Sea Hurri snapped its mast. I don't understand why Corgi ever put that strand of thread on there. The other observation is the Lane cockpit door. If you pull up on the door after you open it, the door will lay flatter against the fuselage and look more natural. There was another thread here or on the UK forum about this. Looks like you need a Mosquito next.

I must admit that I haven't really looked at Corgi 1/32 P51s much since I got the ones I wanted. That said, these look preety nice. Stinger in particular looks very good from the pics you've taken. Probably the most under-rated P51.

Excellent collection Ships. I also have the Elder and Stinger P-51's. I got my Stinger P-51 about 4 years ago at TM, and that is what started me in this hobby.

Looks good......The 1:32's will take your space fast....Trust me i have some of them..
I really like the detail on these 1:32 scale planes too.

Our recent minor earthquake took out the Sea Hurricane. The left wing tip is shattered as well though you can't see it from that angle.
