Corgi Blue Angels F-4's

Does anyone have both #1 and #4? If not, does anyone know the verdict on these? Was anything improved upon with #1 since it came out later or is it just the same plane as the first but with a different number? I would normally buy the HM one but if I can get one of these cheaper, I will just go that route. Thanks

Re: Corgi Blue Angels F-4's

both of these are best avoided, very poor against the HM version only thing they have going for them is nicely applied paint.
very innacurate tooling.

Zed has summed it up well - they are poor comparisons & if possible my suggestion is grab the HM Phantom.

Take it out and play with it

Re: Corgi Blue Angels F-4's

No difference aside from the number but you must remember that #4 was a 2002 release and #1 a 2004 release, comparisons are rather pointless with models produced six years after the original Corgi version.

Re: Corgi Blue Angels F-4's

is the Corgi F-4 tooling in general not good or just not for the B.A F-4?

I really like the paint on these

Re: Corgi Blue Angels F-4's

I had the Corgi F4 Version and sold it because i saw the HM F4 Blue Angels version my friend has and it's way better tooling then the Corgi version.
The Corgi paint has the shine look is all......You could use Future with your HM F-4 Blue Angels and it would outshine the Corgi F4 Blue Angels....
Geez now after all this talking about it i got to find the best deal on a HM F4 Blue Angels now....See ya.
