Re: B-25 Mitchell "Heavenly Body"?

Heavenly Body B-25 fits in well with my PTO collection. I put my Bong P-38 in close formation as the escort. I like the aircraft and stand so much that I have never displayed it with 'wheels down on the ground'...(or the top shelf of my computer desk). I spent about $80 for mine from perrys last August.

CAVTANKER:

I bought my Heavenly Body at Perry's, too. It's $49.95 on sale and is listed as a "Hard to Find".

STARMAN 352ND:

When I was a kid, I had a Revell 1/72 glass-nose B-25 and a Monogram 1/72 solid-nose B-25. I like the glass-nose B-25 a lot more than the solid nose version. Maybe my next bomber will be FOV's 1/72 B-26 (I had a Revell 1/72 B-26 when I was a kid, too).

Re: B-25 Mitchell "Heavenly Body"?

Oh....I like the glass nose B-25 alot better too....That's why i still have my Doollittle Raider B-25 made by Corgi..
But there is just something about that Bats B-25 Nose art that is just neat looking.

Re: B-25 Mitchell "Heavenly Body"?

I got my “Heavenly Body” Mitchell at a Tuesday Morning dump for $29.99 or $39.99. I only bought the plane because of the price and the fact that it was not a common find at TM; but now I’m very glad I own one.
