Re: Just how many Corgi Aircraft do you have in your Collection?

I'm right around 150 Corgi planes. I also have 1 Hobby Master, 3 Gemini, 11 Matchbox, 6 Dragon, and about 7 Armour. I'll have to wait and see what happens with Corgi. I definitely want to pick up a Friday the 13th but the new prices are just too steep. I imagine I'll start picking up 1 example of each of Hobby Master WWII planes except the Stuka.

Re: Just how many Corgi Aircraft do you have in your Collection?

My collection is made up as follows (all 1:72): -
* 134x Corgi
* 27x Hobby Master
* 27x Ixo Jnr
* 17x Dragon
*16x Witty
* 11x Gemini
* 6x Century Wings
* 3x Easy Model
* 2x FOV
* 1x ERTL

The number of Corgi's in my collection has actually reduced as I have disposed of some and replaced them with better examples from other manufacturers.

Be sure to check that Friday the Thirteenth has the swastika in the nose art, small though it me be.

Re: Just how many Corgi Aircraft do you have in your Collection?

According to Wings900 (a good place to track your collection), I have 182 Corgis out of a collection of 443 models, though Wings900 does not list 22 Witty, 10 Easy Model, 26 Matchbox, 16 Dragon Warbirds, and 2 AEROart Mustangs.

Now's a good time to come back, Matchbox. We need you!!

Average price for the collection is US$24. That's cheap by today's standards...

Thanks to your suggestion I just spent about 10 hours setting up my collection at Wings900!

I was able to add most (210) of them... the total spent is certainly sobering! Look me up... same username.

Re: Just how many Corgi Aircraft do you have in your Collection?

Not counting plastic kits, I have 126 aircraft in my collection. 41 are Corgi; less than 33%. The next manufacturer with the most models in my collection is Matchbox at 24.

Wings 900 is a great site, I just wish they had a up to date listing representing more of the die-cast manufactures.

I tried to submit a bunch of Witty planes with standardized photos however they never showed up on the site. I was willing to do so work in order to get the site on its way to being complete but something has to change to make that task easier.

I could only add 2 of my Witty Wings - hopefully they'll add them to their database in the near future.

Re: Just how many Corgi Aircraft do you have in your Collection?

Seems I'm lagging way behind some others!

77 aircraft in total, of which 72 are Corgi. The other 5 are HM, all purchased this year.
