My WWII Corgi Models I've Collected So Far...

Hi Everyone.. I've recently gotten "tuned-into" collecting WWII Corgi Diecast models. I started off my collection a few years ago by finding Corgi's "Unsung Heroes Series", "Modern Warfare Series", and finally I entered into the journey of WWII collectibles which I find the most fascinating thus far (IMHO). I could not fathom or actually collect all the models that I have without the help of Pete Moeller at petescollectibles.com. He was the one who enabled me to get this project started with the Corgi Memphis Belle.
Hey Pete, thank you for making it possible for me to obtain Memphis Belle and many other valued models!!!
I also want to quickly say "Thank You" to all the members of this forum. For months now I've been reading many postings and have found guidance through the commentary. I hope that you enjoy the pics.

(note: all models are of 1:72 scale except for the 1:144 Enola Gay)

Welcome aboard, Tropic Thunder! You've got some of Corgi's sweetest aircraft in that collection.

Welcom to the forum, TT. Nice selections. Are you mostly into "biggies" or are some fighters also on your list?

Hey Tropic. Nice start to the collection. The "end of the beginning"! How did you acquire Mickey the Moocher? If are just getting started, that is a heck of a find!

Welcome to the forum TT. Nice selection of models you have collected so far, can't go wrong with Corgis Fairey Swordfish.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Welcome TT, thats a great looking bunch of birds you have there.
CC is spot on with his comment about the Swordfish .

Re: My WWII Corgi Models I've Collected So Far...

I wish I had bought a MB B-17 back when they were cheaper.

What's the significance of the Tropic Thunder handle?
