Catalinas are landing!!

Just saw a listing on eBay for the RAF Cat. Item #280033124966
This seller seems to always get the jump on retailers.

Re: Catalinas are landing!!

I thought they were to be out in May of this year.
That's a big delay but at least it's out.

I guess one might say it's raining Cats and dogs....

I can't keep this up. Life was so simple when Corgi was it. Now, welll, it's just too much. I quit.

No more models.

I'll give you hand there Parsig just ship those unwanted models across the border, east on the 406 down the QEW and I'll find a nice home for them Honest I will, it won't be a problem at all.

Re: Catalinas are landing!!

I am excited to see the PBY's I ordered. I got the Black cat, and Snafu Snatchers. Snafu Snatchers is actually is OA-10 (USAAF version). The OA-10 in the Air Force Museum is painted in the markings of this exact aircraft.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Lightbulb Re: Catalinas are landing!!

I was @ Perry Aircraft last afternoon and he called his Corgi rep while I was standing there and was told he would have them by next Friday (10-6).
I also prodded Bob to ask straight up about the nasty Corgi Bankruptcy rumor that I have heard to many times o late... The rep did flatly deny any bankruptcy type situation, BUT did according to Bob seem to waffle on the general solvency question. In the end it sounds like they are in some difficulty but basically put forward "don’t worry about it". Hope this is true.
