Re: Tuck Spitfire

Hey Tyler, I think you'll find it a nice model. Depending on the money though?? I had it once and decided I really didn't like the brighter shade of green they used. Wish they would redo this one as it is a nice plane. I guess I think there are some different Spits out there that are a little better than this one. But this is just my opinion, as you will find others like it.

Re: Tuck Spitfire

I think you will like it .
I bought one for my father and if i'm right i think Corgi only made 1,500 of the Robert Tuck spits AA31907.
The grey & green camo is neat looking too.
But it cost a little to get one now days.

Re: Tuck Spitfire

I'd say it depends. If you just want it b/c of the colors and you love Spits, then maybe is my advice. For $100 I would pass I think, for now. My experience is that one will turn up for less. Seems they always do.

On the other hand, if you love Fly for Your Life and have the Hurricane, and need the plane to honor this great aviation legend, then you feel like me and must have it.
The Deere Spit is my last one to get. After about 2 years of trying to get one at a good price I quit and bought the 1/32 for about half the price. Maybe you can find some peace this way eventually like I did and just forget about it.

Wanted: 1/72 Deere Spitfire.

I like mine, it's not my fav, but very nice. $100 is about what I paid for mine 6-8 months ago (I got him down from 125!), so I though it wasn’t too bad. I say go for it!

Look at it this way, $100 is about 120 McDonalds cheeseburgers, which would probably kill you sooner or later. The Tuck Spit will never kill you unless ingested. Hope this helps!

Hmm. What if someone (say a significant other) threw one at you really hard? Those wingtips may not be that sharp, but still...

What's the finish like on this one, is it glossy, or is just that the green is that bright?
