b-29 anybody has an opinion

Hello,

I am thinking of buying a corgi B-29, anybody has an opinion on the quality of corgi's b-29?
I think I'm going to go for a tupolev.

I've got a number of Corgi B-29's and they are OK. If I was to buy one now I'd go for Dragons model as I prefer the way they implement the glazed nose compared to Corgi (see Tri's site for what I mean). The only issue with Dragon is that they only have two B-29's currently avaiable compared to Corgis 9. As for my favorite Corgi that would have to be AA48903, the B-29 with the Bell X-1.

Re: b-29 anybody has an opinion

I'm not big into 1/144 but have a mate who is. He has a few B29s including the Tu4 & the one with the X1. He loves them, figures he can display more than if they were 1/72. Of course he doesn't have any Dragon.

I've never seen one in person, but, as you asked for opinions, the way Corgi has joint lines around the glazed nose ruins it for me.

I have them all... not sure why, but I like the Esso Express and the Tupolev is OK too. My first Corgi was Enola Gay in this series and it took me deep into the depths of this addiction... so maybe that's the connection!

May the farts be with you, and not me.
