Corgi Aviation Archive Collectors Club

I was looking around on Corgi's website and found the Corgi Aviation Archive Collectors Club. I've heard you guys talk about it but what all does the membership really include?

Re: Corgi Aviation Archive Collectors Club

I think it authorizes you to be allowed to buy as many Corgi Aviation Archive models as you possibly can without fear of retribution by Corgi or their distributors.

As a member, you'll get a bi-monthly newsletter, typically a "freebie" club piece (this year was a 1/48 '57 chevy) and chances at special offers and promotions from Corgi (The last promotion was if you spent a certain dollar amount within 3 months, you got a free diecast of your choice.. My "freebie" was a 1/32 Barkhorn Bf-109G)

But that is the UK club and Harry was talking about the US club so make sure you know what you want. The $$ for free models thing seems like a heck of a deal. The Fw-190 is just more cash swirling in the bowl. Ok, nicely painted cash as it may be.......

Re: Corgi Aviation Archive Collectors Club

FYI UK Club Members get to join the US Club at a discount. I'm not sure if it works vice versa.

Re: Corgi Aviation Archive Collectors Club

If I had to choose I believe that I would choose the eclusive offerings over the freebies. I think that the market value of these model may end up exceding that of the free model. Plus, I just dig the unique stuff.
