Lysander canopy modification

I got the black laysander a few months back, but when I received it the plastic part that attaches the wing to the canopy was broken. I did like how corgi made the removable rear canopy either, as the part lets you remove the canopy above the wing and parts of the rear frame. I cut out what would be the rear sliing canopy from the corgi part, and purchased a vacuum formed canopy from squadron. I also glued the ladder in permanently. Here are the results:

Re: Lysander canopy modification

That looks awesome.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: Lysander canopy modification

Some nice modification work you had done to the bird. Looks very nice, couldn't have told that it was damaged at all.
