Went to my local hobby store and picked up the Nine-O-Nine for $90 (not including tax). I couldn't pass it up for such a good price.

Yeah, it's got a horrid gap/seam down the length of the nose but I'm willing to overlook it since the overall sculpt, detail, and painting is quite nice. Not to mention that I love the accessories it comes with.

Sounds like a good deal. I wish I knew what a "local hobby shop" was though.

I got one from Pete's a while back and it had a gap like that too. Just Corgi deciding it's not worth the time and $ to fix it b/c there is no way that went unnoticed at the factory. I sold mine but regret it some as you're right, it is a very nice scheme.
