The Last one: Bar 109

I found one. This is the last Corigi 109 I needed to complete the set and now I have it. Ebay $18 BIN but being from the Blitz set, no box so I paid $5.50 to ship the seller another 109 box so it could be sent properly. Worth every penny as it arrived with stand and both gear options mint. Very pleased to find it as the Dragon one just left me wanting a bit. Anyone else searching for "The Last One" of a certain model?

Short of that one and a few Gemini, it's on here someplace. Like 40 109s...crazy!

Yes! I just paid through the nose for an AA33002 Kepford F4U that I've been looking for for months. Got the lead from a correspondent, looked it up, saw it would cost the equivalent of one tank of gas (with postage from the UK) and didn't hesitate. Of course, I'll be getting some walking exercise for awhile! I have one more Corgi F4U to get, and it is readily available, but am having a hard time convincing myself I need it -- the French Navy Suez. I already have the Israel Suez set, so will probably do the deed. I envy you your 109 collection -- it is without a doubt my favorite Corgi mold, and I have the Blitz set that contains the one you just got. However, I don't have the earliest 109 versions from way back, and can't afford to give up many more tanks of gas to get them!
