| Corgi Minimum Advertised Pricing? Just received this from a dealer "Most important: Corgi has instituted a new Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) policy. This means that all online pricing will go up as soon as we get the revised production schedule. If you are interested in any of the below models please order as soon as possible so we can honor current discounted pricing." So what does this mean, prices going up! Everytime Corgi changes ownership we hear this same tired story, only to have them dumped 4 month later. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Corgi Minimum Advertised Pricing? It was diecastairplane.com who sent it. Interesting part is that he has the Working Range GRAF listed. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Corgi Minimum Advertised Pricing? So, they're gonna want more than $49.99 (MSRP) for an A-4? chance when I can get a great HM one for $30.Let 'em try... | |||||||||||||

| Re: Corgi Minimum Advertised Pricing? Hey Parsig, didn't he also have the BAE Hawk for the same price? I paid $19.00 for mine and thought THAT was too much. I am against that type of pricing plan for anything in general (no competitive pricing) and for models in particular. And because of the past year, I have grown especially weary of the hound's hijinks and have little toleration for more of the same from this company. I am VERY happy that HM is here as they have taken more and more of my business. So far I feel they have been straight shooters in how they run their business and treat their customers. I no longer feel that way with Corgi and I was a great customer, but no more. ![]() | |||||||||||||

Yeah, I believe so... And do Canberras really sell for $90? But that's another thread.... Hey, I look forward to some Pooch models like the 52, Halibag, Stringbag, and Lyssie but they better make a nice 110 or Dornier 17 soon or I'm bored.

| Re: Corgi Minimum Advertised Pricing? Got the same message from diecastairplane.com today. Very depressing. If this holds, my collecting days are numbered. With everything else going up, fitting in what amounts to a 50% raise for Corgis or any other brand isn't going to happen. This is a serious bummer...I was looking forward to a lot of the models on the diecastairplane list, but now I don't know which way to go. I may have to reverse myself and drop Corgi and go mostly HM, though HM will probably be raising prices also. The times they are a' changin... | |||||||||||||

| Re: Corgi Minimum Advertised Pricing?
Like any of you pay retail for models. Ya'll wait for the dumps....and they dump everything over there unlike our Tuesday Morning sales where only the unwanted ones go.And, your Ebay prices are the same or less than ours. I still shop Ebay UK despite the shipping. Don't get me started on Jumblies, nothing like that here. Plus, and I think I've explained this before, you all make more money in England
