Re: Corgi 2008 2009 Release Schedule

There is some major disappointments on that list:
2. Lack of a 1/32 Bf 109 Working Range Hermann Graf....................what the heck? What's the deal with that? A lot of dealers had this to be released in 2008 and now not at all.

I've been waiting for this as well.

The JU52 with floats is also missing.

How many I buy will be based on the new pricing.

Your statement about the JU52 with floats made me think of another MIA model..............the Stuka with skis. Maybe this one isn't on there because it's a Flying Mule exclusive.

Re: Corgi 2008 2009 Release Schedule

Does anyone know anything about 1/72 B17 "General Ike" still possibly being released?

I thought that was canceled by Corgi way back.

Re: Corgi 2008 2009 Release Schedule

A most impressive list, how many of these are new dies though? My hope was that Hornby would breathe new life into Corgi rather than just massage that poor little dog. C'mon guys I feel like I'm watching this poochtake its last breath!

Re: Corgi 2008 2009 Release Schedule

Diecast aficionados have been saying that the pooch is dyin' for years. I say give Hornby a bit of time before we give up altogether.

I don't figure that Corgi will ever regain the market niche that it lost to the other smaller (but growing) companies, but it can definitely stimulate their competition & generate a great deal of buzz with new releases... let's hope that Hornby has that in mind.

Re: Corgi 2008 2009 Release Schedule

There were probably some that were half finished at the factory.

For now, probably the only thing you'll see different is a Hornby sticker on the box
