Re: AA35302 Doolittle's Raider B25

It's a great piece. It caught a ton of flak on issue b/c of the odd blue window on top, a Pooch shortcut some found unforgivable. Not me.
Wish I could remember the story of the blanket in the window...really funny though bull for sure.

I was wondering what that little blue thing was on top. I was looking at the model compared to what was shown on the box and that was one thing I noticed. I figured the box was just a preproduction pic (just as the model shown on the box of the 1/32 Hartmann 109 has a totally different spinner than the actual model). Overall it's a very sharp model and I am glad I picked it up.

Parsig, it came from your neck of the woods............Michigan. I don't know how close to Blissfield you are, but that's where I found it.

The receipt only says Blissfield Antique Mall; 101 & 103; US 223. It was a large building with cabinets/display areas for various seller's items right downtown in Blissfield.

Brunowbe, if you can lay your hands on one, grab the Bats Outa’ Hell '25, no. AA35303. In my humble opinion the Bats is the most striking, most magnificent B-25 Corgi makes—perhaps the most gorgeous of all Corgi warbirds.

Perry Aircraft Hobbies has a few for $64.95.

Holy Crap!!! It's GORT!!! I don't post or read as much as I used to so maybe that's why I didn't see you??? It's A.K.A. Abbevilleslayer from the old forum. Man, what have you been up to???

Overpay, my boy–??! Are you kidding??? Brunowbe, you just committed robbery!!! That’s an absolute steal!!!!

Good for you! Brother, what a find!!! Were the box and model MINT? Not that it matters a bunch, but at that price a pristine Doolittle would make it that much more mind-boggling.

And ain’t she a beauty? I’m looking at mine as we speak, and all I can say is, WOW!

By the way, I don’t know if you’ve got the other Corgi ‘25s, but if you don’t, grab ‘em, ‘cause buddy, they’re incredibly beautiful. I just topped off my Corgi Mitchell collection with the Legal Eagle, Corgi’s last ‘25, and all I can say is—outstanding!
