Re: My first tandem helo is so cool!

The RAAF Wokka is one of the best along with Bravo November, just avoid like the plague the Legends SAS one and the apple green RAF one (I won't even call it an HC.2 )with Landrover two of the most inaccurate models yet made. But if you like helos just wait and see what is in the future

That SAS helo's camo gives me a headache just by looking at it.

As for the other one you mention I had to look it up on Tri's site. That is an odd version of the RAF color (reminiscent of the Corgi "Sweet and Lovely" B-17). I have a few pics of green RAF Chinooks and they look nothing like it. Is that the only flaw with this one?

I have to say I am really happy with my small helicopter collection so far. If what you are "teasing" about the future come true, I had better start adding wider shelves in my office to accommodate these little jewels.

Apart from the colour which is nothing like BS 241 Dk Green the aircraft is missing ALL the DAS fit which is standard on RAF Wokkas, has the wrong HF aerial fit on the side ,no winch and is missing the black walkways that are on all RAF Wokkas. My one was stripped down, had kit parts added and converted into a RAF HC.3.

Flipping back and forth between your pics and those from Tri, I have to say the job you did looks much better. Thanks for the info.
