Corgi A-10's? July Release?

Does anyone know about the supposed july release of the first corgi A-10? It shows the release on the flying mule. Not sure if they will release them or not because of hobby masters success though.

Thumbs down Re: Corgi A-10's? July Release?

If I was Corgi I wouldn't bother - HM has beaten them to the finish line & I doubt the pooch will better their product

Take it out and play with it

Until Hornby releases some information I think the release dates on all the websites are wrong.

I suspect Corgi will release an A10 as the mold was made.

Re: Corgi A-10's? July Release?

Looking forward to when Corgi puts out some new aircraft. Still holding out hope for the Bf 110.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Same here. Their Bf 110C would be nice, but if it doesn't get released or it turns out to be a piece of junk, that just means we'll all have more money for Hobby Master Bf 110Gs, right? Their unreleased A-10 doesn't look bad from the pre-production photos on Tricatus' website. No terrible join lines, and they have underwing pylons carrying ordnance! I guess we'll all just have to wait and see what "Cornby" has in store for us.

Re: Corgi A-10's? July Release?

Corgi's model will be a success, due to several factors. 1) Distribution 2) Name Recognition 3) Limited Runs 4) Pilots

Most people don't even know who Hobbymaster is, much less see them in the stores.

With that said, the Corgi versions in the pre-pro photos don't look as menacing as the HM versions that come loaded out for massive destruction.
