Flying Mule Exclusive...what should it be?

So since a few of us seem like we're ready for another flying mule exclusive what does everyone want it to be?

Re: Flying Mule Exclusive...what should it be?

How about a Battle of Britain 109E that doesn't cost $60?

Commissions the would interest me:
Balthasar 109E III/JG3
Polish Sqd (Frantisek) Hurricane
Defense of the Reich FW190

I think Shangri-La is a good bet. I wouldn't mind seeing a BoB 109 either.

Re: Flying Mule Exclusive...what should it be?

Walter Krupinski 109
Hans Trautloft 109
Macki Steinhoff 262
John Dundas Spitfire (it would go well with the Wick 109 whom he shot down moments before his death).

Too many to name but these would be among my most wanted.

Lightbulb Re: Flying Mule Exclusive...what should it be?

OK I'm going to be the voice in the wilderness here... How about an EC-121 Warning star? The father of the AWACS based on a Super Constellation air frame....

I could go for that..I wonder how hard it would be to make the changes to the mold to make that work

Re: Flying Mule Exclusive...what should it be?

I'd be willing to bet that if Martin does a special it will be a Typhoon or P-38. That is presuming that both those moulds aren't delayed more than a thousand or so years.

If I recall Martin's rules of thumb, WWII always sells and repaints are cheap. We have to wait and see what the spring 2007 catalog brings us. Then we have to look at the squadrons represented and see what other pilots from those planes/squadrons can be done.

Yeah, perhaps that is a little to scientific and clinical, but it's how we will figire out what Martin will do.

If we are just wishing, then I'm still pulling for a Spanish Civil War set of a ME-109 and Stuka. (There were some beautiful SCW ME-109 liveries posted on the old forum.)
