Yankee Doodle or Memphis Belle?

What are your thoughts on the following:

Yankee Doodle for $107.00 shipped

or

Memphis Belle for $150.00 - $200.00 shipped

Or... if you could only have one (just one) early model B-17, which would it be?

(It seems to me the nose join lines of the first Corgi E/F models are a tad bit better than the later G model releases... no?)

Re: Yankee Doodle or Memphis Belle?

I will echo the other post and say Memphis Belle. Besides the beauty of the model, her history is remarkable. This is a must own model in my book. I bought mine about 8 months ago and have been very pleased with the purchase-you will be too!

Re: Yankee Doodle or Memphis Belle?

Since I could never find the ole Memphis Belle, I purchased the Yankee Doodle on ebay for $29.95 a few years back.

Re: Yankee Doodle or Memphis Belle?

I'm not all that picky, but I rather like my Yankee Doodle, like the camo on it. I paid $50 a few years back.

Re: Yankee Doodle or Memphis Belle?

Thanks all for your feedback. Give me more feedback on the nose join lines: E/F vs. G. Big difference? Slight difference? No difference?
