Opinions on Corgi 1/32 Spitfires

A week ago I won my 1st Corgi 1/32 Spitfire. Al Deere's KLB Still waiting for it.

$51 and $15 shipping. Seemed like a good deal.

I've been trying for years to get the 1/72 version with the notes for about the smae price (w/o success) and then this popped up. The Tricatus pic has not been updated and I just wanted to here from those who own it.

Good to have this on the new MH too!

You will like your 1/32 spitfire.
I have only one and it's the Battle worn Spitfire and i really like it.
That's not a bad shipping price $15.00 for it.

Corgi 32nd subjects...

Very nice models, though I must say not up to GMP standard which I have come to love. Certainly cheaper though... @ 75ish (see above) that is about 1/2 the GMP price.
Of the Corgi's though I think the Hurricanes are great... Old Crow and the D.Bader Spit are fine also, well loved members o my stable.

The 1/32 Spits are amongst the best of Corgi's models in any scale. Unlike the Mustang there is very little plastic. With regard to Al Deere's Spit it does have a couple of niggles. The kiwi emblem should end near the cockpit door not over it. I'm told that the squadron codes are too big but that is not a problem for me. I also noticed that it doesn't have an individual aircraft serial near the tail. I'm not sure if this is correct or not?

Well now that's gonna bug the crap out of me...

Why in the heck would Corgi make a bone-headed error like that and tie the game with the Angels...ah sorry, trying to do two things at once.

Like I was saying, why would they make suck a mistake??

Re: Opinions on Corgi 1/32 Spitfires

I agree with Mr JC Woodman,
I think that GMP give us some very nice models, detailed and with a nice finish. The Corgi 1/32 seems nice too, but should have deserved more details because of their scale, IMHO...
BTW, does anyone has got a pic of a 1/35 GMP and a 1/32 Corgi AA (P51 mustang) side by side to compare the size ? Thanks...
