B-52's

Looking at getting one of Corgi's B-52s. Was wondering if there was a specific one with better detail than the others, and if Corgi does a good model of this?

Re: B-52's

As far as I know, the 1/144 Corgi B52, 'Diamond Lil' has consistently got the best reviews .

Re: B-52's

The Corgi B-52 is a great diecast in my opinion and has a good amount of detail for it's scale.

I own the American Air Museum version and really enjoy it. As Cardinal already said I have heard that Diamond Lil is a good looking diecast as well.

I agree...I only have one B-52 and it's "Diamond Lil" she has a history about her too.

Re: B-52's

The B-52 is definatly a nice plane. And it is also a big plane even in 1:144 scale. You will be very happy if you get one.

I would love to have the "Iraqi Freedom" version, or the "Carswell AFB" as I think those are just very neat looking, and different looking, planes. Yet, I happen to have the "Castle AFB". But considering how expensive these birds are, and how little I paid for mine, I am very happy.

Re: B-52's

I only have one of the Corgi B-52s, but it is a good looking model. Have the B-52D American Air Museum Duxfordbut would not mind having the Castle B-52.

AA,
I don't own it (yet) but have seen it in person many times (at the local hobby shop) and it's very nice looking. You won't be sorry. I do own the Iraqi Freedom bird and like that one too.

Yes this is a really nice one to have as well because you get that little X-15 with it too..I have seen this one in person and the colors are great.
If you like the bare metal look on the B-52's then this is the one to get imho.
