Re: B-52's

I'm traveling but wife called and I have the NB-52 (X-15 version) and Diamond Li'l sitting at home right now. When get home this Friday will take pictures. I couldn't decide which one so got both - Perry's has them for a very very good price and moderate shipping.

I didn't know you could us the words "Perry's" and "moderate shipping" in the same sentence.

Re: B-52's

I didn't say "low" shipping prices . But, with the increase in shipping prices from all vendors and the very very good price on the B-52, the total cost from Perry's makes for the best deal I could find...and shopped these for @ a month. They are hard to find (these 2 models) and hard to find for less than a $100.

At times, I've found Perry's makes sense as long as you take into account total cost when comparing vendors. I also have had great service, no broken models, etc. YMMV

Re: B-52's

I have both the NASA and Iraqi Freedom B-52, but I wish I had "Diamond Lil" instead. The history behind this one is too hard to pass up. At the time though, I couldn't find "Lil" for a decent price.

Re: B-52's

I have four Corgi- BUFF’s

AA33501 B-52C 54-2672 7th BW, Carswell AFB
AA33502 B-52D 'Diamond Lil', SAC
AA33504 NB-52B & X-15 Research Aircraft Edwards AFB
AA33506 B-52H 23rd BS, 5th BW, 'Operation Iraqi Freedom'

I use them as the center pieces of several of my jet displays.

AA33501 - Cold War display
AA33502 - Vietnam display
AA33504 - Test & development display
AA33506 - Desert Storm / War on Terror display

I have purchased each of them shipped for under $100 each, my best deal by far was my NB-52 & X-15 for $33 from On Mark International.

Re: B-52's

Hello All,

Can anybody tell me if the ( AA33504 B-52 and X15 Research Aircraft iis a good one to get.It looks very nice with the orange/red test colours.

I also dont have one yet , but would like to get one very soon before they are harder than now to get.

AVRO ARROW

You won't regret buying that one AA, I had three BUFF's but sold the Iraqi Freedom version last month to make way for other new releases . I still have the X-15 version & Diamond Lil, all three of which I got from Perrys at their present rate which is the cheapest around. Shipping was fine considering the size and weight of these beauties - well worth having in any serious collection IMHO

Take it out and play with it

$33 was a steal, in fact I think it was a mistake becuase the price was changed the next time I looked. I should have purchased multiple for re-sale but I'm just glad i got in on the price when it was valid.
