Re: Best 1:32 Corgi Bf-109 poll

I always thought Hartmann's should of had the kill markings on his tail on that one no?
Also i just notice "LOW STOCK" for the Hartmann at the Mule....That's a good price for her too.

Especially with free shipping. I'm not so sure he had the kills on his rudder, heck I do not believe he could fit them all on there either. Anyone know for certain on this particular craft and paint scheme?

Re: Best 1:32 Corgi Bf-109 poll

I have 5 of these suckers.

Hartman, Barkhorn, Black 6, Ehrle, and Hakl.

Out of those I would say that Ehrle is my favorite.

I really like the cleaner lines of the G2 without the gun blisters on the nose, and the white/green mottling effect is done really well on the fuselage

Barkhorn and Hartman are great, but to similar, and black 6 just looks really sinister, but Ehrle alway cones to the top.

Ooops!

Timbo, since the Barkhorn and Hartman are too similar, feel free to send ME your Hartmann....I'll even pay postage and a few extra bucks on top of that!

Re: Best 1:32 Corgi Bf-109 poll

For me it has to be the Gotz

This paint scheme gives the 109 a shark like look. Put it at the right angle on the stand at it looks like a flying killer intent of evil doings

Aahhhh, there you are DC! Was wondering when you'd drop in on this thread. Tastes quite different this side of the pond. Gotz is getting a good showing here. Like you, it's my favourite too.

OK - but just to make sure such a rare model gets there in one piece, I'll have to hand deliver it, so that'll be $2000 - You can paypal me whenever you feel like it!!!

Smile Re: Best 1:32 Corgi Bf-109 poll

I must admit that I have never thought that Hartmann and Barkhorn were too similar; different spinners, nose art, fuselage colours, canopies, big dollop of yellow under the nose of the Barkhorn. I'm very happy to have both.

Question Re: Best 1:32 Corgi Bf-109 poll

Interesting poll results here. Over on the DAF site I think Ehrle won.
