Re: Latest Statement from Hornby

They have said that for years.

I agree with ya, Gambit.

But it's only a question of time how long a company like that can 'bleed' like they used to.

Not every management team will be staffed by 'muppets'.

I reckon the days of mass-dumping at silly prices are (generally) over, as far as Corgi's new Masters are concerned.

For sure; Hornby KNOW how to market their trains (always have); so they're no-'mugs'.

As they also own Airfix (& what was Humbrol), the very future of 'models' (in the U.K) as we know it, is in their hands.

Not anyone from this forum would do that....

Do the (immediate) previous posts even remotely qualify as humour ...?

Re: Latest Statement from Hornby

Time will tell, as they say, but I’ve got a good feeling about this.

My guess is that Corgi (Hornby) will prune more stock through Tuesday Morning (good news for us) then issue some really neat stuff, probably new stuff, at higher prices.

I’m praying Hornby will continue their Ju-88 line. Like I said elsewhere, I’d absolutely love to see a night fighter version or two. Or three. I’d go bananas, too, over more two-engined bombers: Luftwaffe, Allied, Italian, Russian and Japanese, alike.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.
