Good Deal Hartmann at the Mule

I've been putting off buying AA34904 Bf109G-6 Erich Hartmann because the only seller is Perry's and he wanted $124.95 plus the usual $20-$25 shipping. The Mule has them at $119 plus free shipping. If you like 1/32 scale, better jump on it because I can't recall seeing these at lower price. If you know of some place that has a better deal, please don't tell me. It would ruin my weekend.

Mine showed today. You won't be sorry although I think I like the Barkhorn as much. Other than the nose tulip, this is a much simpler scheme and I think that's why.

Don't forget the targets are my airfields, Leigh-Mallory, and you're not getting fifty, you're not even getting ten.

Congrats C17driver, you got one of the finest 1/32 Corgi Bf109s at a really good price - there is no way that you could be disappointed with your purchase .

(My 1/32 Bf109G tally is currently 4 [+ 1 on the way] and this is perhaps the only Corgi 1/32 casting where I may end up with the entire set - they're that good [in my opinion]... )

This will #4 for me too. I agree with Parsig that the Barkhorn is better looking. I even think my Hackl is better looking. But, the bottom line is that there is only one Hartmann and if you want a 109, you need to include him.

Fine! Agree with Parsig9 - see if I care .

Seriously though, I also think that the Barkhorn and also perhaps the Ehrle Bf109 have an edge over the Hartmann version. However, the Hartmann tends to grow on one when displayed (in flight mode) - its canopy is also unique and looks particularly cool .

Re: Good Deal Hartmann at the Mule

I think the Hartmann 109 is the best one they make IMHO..
But i still like the Hackl and Barkhorn too.

I agree. Hartmann is my favorite, and the hardest to find at a decent price. I bought mine from Perry's a year ago and paid much more than the Mule is now listing it for. I'd jump on it quick.

Re: Good Deal Hartmann at the Mule

These are just way too good.
I bought one with the intention of having ONLY one but liked it so much I bought the full set.

btw I like Red 6 even though it seems to be the least popular one.

I like Red 6 as well.

Took me a while to hunt down the Hartmann.

Re: Good Deal Hartmann at the Mule

The Hartmann is by far the best one made. Not only does it have the tulip on the nose, it is the only one with a Galland Hood canopy. I have the Barkhorn as well, but it is not nearly as nice as the Hartmann. My second favorite would have to be Ehrle's bird, as it is a 109G2 with a smooth cowling and it has the underwing cannon gondolas. Red 6 is on its way, can't wait to see it up close. Anyone know where the Gotz 109 can be picked up for a decent (read cheap) price so I can finish off the collection? I'm hoping to do that next month.

Corgi, please release Graf's 109!!!
