Re: Good Deal Hartmann at the Mule

The Hartmann is by far the best one made. Not only does it have the tulip on the nose, it is the only one with a Galland Hood canopy. I have the Barkhorn as well, but it is not nearly as nice as the Hartmann. My second favorite would have to be Ehrle's bird, as it is a 109G2 with a smooth cowling and it has the underwing cannon gondolas. Red 6 is on its way, can't wait to see it up close. Anyone know where the Gotz 109 can be picked up for a decent (read cheap) price so I can finish off the collection? I'm hoping to do that next month.

Corgi, please release Graf's 109!!!

The Gotz is on my list also. The cheapest I have found them is at Perry's. It costs $79.95. Of course, that's before they give you the "special" shipping rate. Unfortunately, sometimes Perrys is the only game in town and if you want it bad enough, you're going to pay. I think I need to work a trip that goes thru Portland.

Talking Re: Good Deal Hartmann at the Mule

I have more 1/32 109s than any other Corgi 1/32s. I also have 4 with one inbound. For me the best one is Gotz!

Smile Re: Good Deal Hartmann at the Mule

These are just way too good.
I bought one with the intention of having ONLY one but liked it so much I bought the full set.

btw I like Red 6 even though it seems to be the least popular one.

Based on the polls here and on DAF the Black 8 is least popular with Red 6 being surprisingly popular. The DAF poll suggests that Ehrle is no. 1, Barkhorn 2nd, Hartmann 3rd with Red 6 forth. I'll have a look to see whether the poll here is still available. Generally there's always a slight difference in views across the pond.

I've unsuccessfully tried finding a 1/32 109 Poll here, sorry. I don't seem to be able to get the search engine activated so I've gone back manually a bit. One other thought, Hackl seems quite popular now and was released latest. Maybe a new poll is in order or the old can be resurrected.

Wink Re: Good Deal Hartmann at the Mule

Here's a thread that may further stimulate some interest.

Help: Anton Hackl or Gerhard Barkhorn?

Re: Good Deal Hartmann at the Mule

For the love of the good Lord, is there any information on the working range Graf being released? Is this one that I'll have to continue to speculate how nice it could have been?

Black 8 is my least favorite (even though I still like it, but if I had to give one up, that would be the one).
