Re: Corgi 109

While I, too, like Corgi's BF-109Es, I bought the Galland US32110 and found the underside and side color, which should be a light blue/gray, to be much too dark to suit my taste. Eventually, I repainted the affected areas with good results. Just thought I'd mention it.

Re: Corgi 109

Galland's 109 is a good one, but $40 is too steep, as others have noted you can easily find it for under $35. If you want a cheaper one, get US32106 flown by Werner Schroer. Pictures of it make it look bad, I hesitated to get it for the longest time because of that, but I found it for $20 or so and was pleasantly surprised by it. It's the poor man's Corgi Marseilles (even though I believe that model was Schroer's mount as well).

Re: Corgi 109

Whitty Wings makes the "G" version with the under wing cannons. Not a bad price also at under $20.00 each and comes with a tail swazie also. Dragon makes a "E" and a "G" version also but no tail swazis.

Kind of partial to the Dragon Bf 109Gs.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.
