Re: My New Addition - Corgi Doolittle B-25

Sweet looking bird you got there HotTrap! How large are the Corgi B-25s? I've got a FM 1/48 B25 and it is freakin huge. I'm just curious as to the difference as I've been thinking about adding a Corgi B 25.

This particular plane has an 11 inch wingspan. From the tip of the glass nose to the end of the tailcone it measures 9 inches. I'd estimate the weight to be about 2 pounds. Sits about 2 inches off the ground. If you can get one, do so! I really think you won't be disappointed.

Sorry to hear about the damage it looks as if you did a great job spiffing it up.

I’m jealous because the wavy line separating the O. drab and the light grey on mine does not line up nearly as nice as your does were the nose section meets the body, consider yourself very lucky.

Thanks rdenham. Yes, I consider myself extremely lucky to have such a beautiful plane that I've wanted for so long at an affordable price. I feel bad that someone else's misfortune led to me getting it. That's why I will treasure it so much more. Never noticed the nose alignment of the gray/O.D. before. Does seem okay on this particular plane.

Doing what you want is freedom; doing what you like is happiness.
