Re: Corgi 1:72 "Heavies" Pictures

Pappy has a REALLY good point. Threads like this - namely, photographs in threads like this - lead to significant debt and (depending on the significant other) may lead to severe beatings, pinchings, slappings, and/or diecast "flight testing". Lauren doesn't know about the second Lancaster yet - and she must never find out how much "Phantom of the Ruhr" cost

I'm going to carefully avoid this thread from now on. The photos are reminding me that I don't have a B-17 or Halifax yet...

Before I found this forum and its UK counterpart, I was happy with a few Franklin Mint 1/48 fighters, one Corgi 1/72 Ju87 and some 1/72 Dragon Armor - now, thousands of dollars later with no remaining packing space left, the less said the better ...

(How far off the rails can one go - I'm busy assembling my newly arrived FoV 1/16 Tiger I at this very moment ... )

But I was being serious ...

You want to know how i really get these diecast planes....i use my CC ..But these aren't regular CC cards they are rebate cc cards you get for
all kinds of companies that give out rebates for you buying their products...Just like the other day i got back 100.00 rebate for buying 2 cells phones from AT&T
50.00 per phone and i will use the rebate cards to buy my planes...That way you won't get into trouble with your personal cards...Pay cash for most things you have
and look for the rebates.
Now i got a little off topic here .......opps
Keep posting these pictures guys there great stuff.

Have you managed to max out one of those rebate cards yet ?-- I detest the things, they make it so hard to use every penny...... but, then again, that's the point for them.

Great photos of that CC Fort Ships! Must resist... ah heck, resistance is futile!

(I do not want a POTR badly enough to fork out $250 though JP, I won't regret that... I'd rather get a G for George from Perrys if I were to get another Lanc I think -- but the stable might actually be full )

That is a fine looking B-17.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.
