Even the Lancaster with the Reaper and the bombs is cool! Keep em coming!

That is the Modelzone (UK) exclusive Phantom of the Ruhr Lanc -- you are better off if you forget you ever saw it, trust me......... ($250 clams at least)

Re: Corgi 1:72 "Heavies" Pictures

Some really fine looking heavies in those pictures. Wish I had the room to display some of the larger models.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

I always look at it this way if i didn't have to buy these other 4 planes i have one of
these by now...and it works for me..

Here are some legacy photos of a few of my heavies. I have a bunch more still in boxes but working to get them all out on display.

JP, leave the poor guy alone - he's showing a sense of prudence and fiscal responsibility which should be encouraged. Just admit it, you want us all to get into trouble with 'CC plastic' meltdown - diecast 'pusher' ...

One sheep to rule them all ...

Re: Corgi 1:72 "Heavies" Pictures

Pappy has a REALLY good point. Threads like this - namely, photographs in threads like this - lead to significant debt and (depending on the significant other) may lead to severe beatings, pinchings, slappings, and/or diecast "flight testing". Lauren doesn't know about the second Lancaster yet - and she must never find out how much "Phantom of the Ruhr" cost

I'm going to carefully avoid this thread from now on. The photos are reminding me that I don't have a B-17 or Halifax yet...
