My Corgi 1/32 collection

I finally got around to setting up all my Corgi 1/32 models. Makes for an impressive display. I'd love to see Hornby turn out some new 1/32 moulds for Corgi.

Everything here is either an Ebay deal, a Tuesday Morning deal, or in the case of the BoB scramble set a half price deal that was posted here on this site. The figures really add to the display. I really like the Flight Line models. But the Forward March figures are much better than what comes with the Flight Line models. For $4 at Tuesday Morning they are fantastic!

I still need a P-51 and will grab a Mosquito if I see one at a good price. I have a couple of the Forward March figures to go with the Mustang or Mustangs when they get here.

Re: My Corgi 1/32 collection

Nice display!
I don't have a Corgi Mustang anymore, but I have everything else and wished I had room to display it like yours.
Maybe someday.......

Re: My Corgi 1/32 collection

Nice looking birds 1250!!! After looking at those pics, I kinda want to get a Hurricane now in that scale. I definitely want to find a spit at a good price. Which mold do you think looks best; the Hurricane, Spit, or 109?

Re: My Corgi 1/32 collection

Very nice, 1250ships! In 1:32 I have a Corgi Mustang, and now a 109, along with some Forward March figures, thanks to the TM sale, so, along with some 1:32 21st Centuries, I have to set up a display like that.

I think the general opinion is that the Spitfires and 109s are better than the Hurricanes. That is why you can find Hurricanes at good prices and the price is why I have three. In my opinion the best Hurricane that isn't a UK only item is the Sea Hurricane. If you aren't particular about which Hurricane and don't mind waiting you can do what I did. I bid on the Ebay auctions by choate76- just put in the minimum bid and never up it. If someone outbids you just try again with the next auction when he reposts. As of now he has the Bader, Nicholson, and Lewis Hurricanes available.

The Spitfires you are going to pay at least $100 for them. If you find one for less than that you did good. Perry's has one of the Spits for $99 if you just have to have one now. Overall the Spitfire is probably a better mould than the Hurricane.

The 109s seem to fall in between the Hurricanes and Spitfires in terms of prices. I got mine at Tuesday Morning so only paid $39.95 plus tax. It is very nice and though I hadn't planned on it I'll see if I can pick up another one at a good price since I now have three 1/32 Luftwaffe pilots and only one plane for them to share.

I've stayed away from the working range planes because you have to keep them on the base and like the option of showing them gear down.

Good eye. I happened to get both Bader planes and so when I saw the figure at Tuesday Morning I couldn't resist. They figures are really well done.
