Another underrated Libby

I got my AA34012 Liberator from B6 a while back and I have to say that it is probably one of the nicest, and most underrated Liberators made by Corgi. Most of the pics of this bird doesn't do it justice and I wasn't impressed until I actually saw it in person.

Thumbs up Re: Another underrated Libby

I agree Harry. It was pointed out to me that the squadron has South African connections. The problem for me has been postage since its been available for good prices at times.

I have it too and it's great. Probably $60+ to Africa though huh?

Ouch!

That's precisely my problem. Even now I really want some models but have to time the purchases with new releases so try saving on postage.

I do. And it is #0005 of #1400! Probably the lowest numbered bird I have in my collection which is always a plus. I have a line on another and will probably pick it up as I can see these possibly becoming very rare down the road.

Re: Another underrated Libby

That is a mighty nice looking B-24. Definitely stands out from the more standard paint schemes.

I fully agree with you Harry, this B.VI (B24) is superb and is in many respects on a par with the Corgi Lancasters . It is also unique as it represents an electronic countermeasures aircraft - one of the first aircraft dedicated to this role I believe. (It also has an excellent livery, fit and finish .)
