I only have one Corgi Ju 88 (AA36701). After looking it over carefully, I think it would not be that big of a modification to use this mold for some of the early Ju 88C day and night fighter variants.

These Ju 88 night fighter variants wound not need that great a modification to the current Ju 88 molds either. Looking at new plastic solid nose and some dampeners for the exhausts, and radar masts (Shoot one version is minus the radar masts). Hope the new folks at Corgi give this some thought,

With the Corgi Ju 88 being pretty much based on the Ju 88A-4, mold should be good for Ju 88C-4 thru C-6 with some real minor tweeking. It would also probably require new canopy to reflect single rear armament, but with the R4+FM example still retains the twin rear gun armament. Be nice to see both Ju 88 day and night fighter variants.

Any of these schemes are 'bankers' IMHO and hopefully will be done when CORNBY realize their full market potential. Still waiting on the BoB one!!

The BoB Ju 88 is one I would like to pickup too. Wonder if it will be put out this year.
