Re: UPS dropped off a Recce Mosquito today

Thanks for posting the pics CC. I've been thinking about picking one of these up - your pics (and Tricatus') have convinced me.

I only have the black Modelzone Mossie at the moment - I should add a bit more to the collection I do plan on getting the Guy Gibson Mossie if it ever gets released...

Re: UPS dropped off a Recce Mosquito today

CC, F for Freddy (Amiens raid) sells cheaply and is a very nice model .

I dont know why but on Ebay this particular Mossie is always the cheapest of all.
I have this one and its a beauty.

I have got the "rare" one ("rare" because I keep believing that that alleged warehouse blaze is nothing more than just a rumour) and I was quite surprised to find that it was (and is still) offered relatively often on eBay for acceptable prices (got mine for 77 British bucks). Looks fantastic next to my Gemini Spitfire (both having invasion stripes).

I think it will be much harder to realize my next "project": getting one of those "easter egg" Lancasters (AA32609E). I do not believe that I want to spend 230 bucks (lowest winning bid I´ve seen on eBay for that plane) for it... I´ll rather buy "Admiral Prune" or something... but in no way one of those "sights and sounds"... they´re just toyish, not diecast!

"Resistance is futile."
