Companies, sports teams and other collective entities often take the plural in the Queen's English, as in this case. Other examples: "Guinness report record profits as Folgore drinks up pints"; "Newcastle United have defeated Arsenal"; and "Team Model Hangar have reached the $100 donation goal ahead of schedule." Of course, to be truly English, you'd have to pronounce sked-yul as "shed-yool." And that's just freaky. | ||||||||||||||
