Re: Swordfish In!?

Yeah, you guys convinced me to buy this one as well. This site costs me some serious money. If my wife ever saw the bill from the mule she would flip, and then I would ahve to sleep on Skunky's couch.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Thanks, I hope you have a comfy couch, because I ordered it.

Re: Swordfish In!?

While not necessary, I'll chime in here.

I saw both of these displayed this afternoon at a local shop.

O H M Y G O D !

These things look INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Especially the Ark Royal - 1939 - one. But then again, the history behind the 1941 model....)

Re: Swordfish In!?

The Ark is silver and has 3 crew as does the Bismark one. Both have torpedoes although slightly different colors. The silver is beautiful with the gloss black but my gut makes me like the combat ready look of the camo version. I have both and will get more...........Bismark one goes great with the sea Gladiator.

Re: Swordfish In!?

Just got my Swordfish last night form the flying mule. It's the best model/diecast for $35 that I have ever seen. Sometimes I use how much I spent as a factor on how to rate the diecast. If Corgi is taking its time to make the P-38 lightning as well as the Swordfish and Gladiator then I don't mine the wait. The Swordfish is a must have.

Check the Ebay Listings forum for the latest diecast model listings on eBay.

Re: Swordfish In!?

Just opened my Ark Royal/Bismarck Stringbag, and like a lot of others here, I have to say that I am very impressed. Well done Corgi.

I don't like reggae. I love it.
