Re: Swordfish In!?

BTW, Apparently, my intel about the Swordfish being on the stand with/without the torpedo is wrong (Not personal intel) because Martin got these in and his Stringbag is on a stand WITH the torpedo!!

Re: Swordfish In!?

Harry,
Thanks for the update.

Instead of Corgi, you now officially qualify as a bad, bad person for being wrong! (I hope this is taken in the jester like manor it is being offered.)

Note that the model had to be rotated about 30 degrees to clear the torpedo's fins.

Works for me Maybe it will look like he's making a turn into the Bismarck

And if you rotate it another 180 it might look like it's diving on the Bismarck.

Re: Swordfish In!?

I got the Bismark one on the way. I am now glad that I ordered it. After seeing the pics, I think it looks great.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Talking This is one of the best EVER!!!!!

No fooling! HUGE thumbs up!!! In my opinion this is one of the best die cast aircraft models I have ever purchased, (and I’m pushing the 400 mark ).

Only the GMP planes and the CMC cars have impressed me more, and those are over the top. And it is probably the best Corgi model hands down!
The detail, folding wings (that’s right, they fold!), and above average figures for Corgi make this one a must have.
I paid 35.00 for mine yesterday and like the Gladiator it amazes me that this quality of model can be had for such a reasonable price. I am crazy waiting for the "float" version!
It came VERY well packaged and looks great parked w/ the Gladiators. I am sooooo impressed; I just hope Corgi can keep this up.
