Nice looking model, and it would be neat to see one of these done in 1/72nd scale.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Ain’t she a looker? Love her dolphinesk fuselage, those elegant, graceful lines. I’ve got Dragon’s 1/400 EC-121D “Big Eye,” and even at that teeny-weeny scale she looks utterly attractive.

I sat in the front office of an EC-121D years ago, and all I can say is: CRAMPED! You’d think it’s airliner sized; actually, it’s closer to a fighter cockpit.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

I also have this plane, and she is a beauty. She looks good along side my 707 and 747 Presidential Aircraft. Now if I can only get Marine One at a good price, my collection will be somewhat complete. I doubt we will ever see The Sacred Cow or The Independence as they were not as well known.

Got quite excited reading that, Thanks Gort.
I do agree, I have the Blue Angels version.

I would like one of these in 1/72nd scale sporting the old TWA or MATS livery. Quite a few years back went through a couple Constellations at an airshow at Nellis.

Re: Photos of my new Lockheed Constellation "Columbine"

That looks really nice. I have one in 1/400. It's bigger than a B-29, so it would be huge in 1/72.

Flexibility is the key to airpower.
Indecision is therefore the key to Airpower.

I show the Super Constellations with wing span of 126ft were the B-29 is at 141ft. Conny is a bit longer 17 feet though. Seems like if anything scale wise they would be pretty close.
