That's a Herpa 1/500 # 514224 got it for $8.00 on sale.

I show the Super Constellations with wing span of 126ft were the B-29 is at 141ft. Conny is a bit longer 17 feet though. Seems like if anything scale wise they would be pretty close.

Yeah, the B-29 has a greater wingspan. The Connie is so big around, though, it seems to dwarf the Superfort. I'll post pics tomorrow.

The broad tail assembly on the Connie would probably be a factor too. I like the three vertical stabilizers!
 

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.
