New Corgi-USA contact information

Because of the lack of communication from Corgi-USA, via their web site email and direct email to Matthew Harrell (see posts in the Halifax thread), I initiated email contact with Corgi-UK. I received a very quick and professional response from Mr. Eldrige, their Director of Global Online Services for Corgi International. In his initial and subsequent email correspondence with me he demonstrated a great deal of concern over customer service issues in regard to Corgi-USA. As we all know, Corgi-USA has moved their operations to California (the Chicago office closed April 4th). However, that should not have disrupted their email correspondence and response to its customers to the degree it apparently has. For this, Mr. Eldrige has apologized on behalf of Corgi for the inconvenience and concern this has caused among its customers.

Matthew Harrell is no longer with Corgi (so there is no need to send email his way). Rather, please direct your email to Mr. Tom Vargas in the new California offices of Corgi-USA. His email is:

tvargas#corgiltd.com (replace the # sign with the @ sign in the email address - no sense aiding spammers)

Both kindly ask for your patience during the transition. Also, Mr. Vargas is new to Corgi and is still learning the Corgi side of die cast. They would really appreciate your understanding and hope that you will contact Mr. Vargas with your concerns.

I hope this is of some assistance -

Re: New Corgi-USA contact information

That is good news to hear...
At least you may have a better chance in getting in touch with Tom now that Matthew is no longer with Corgi.
Thanks for the info.

Re: New Corgi-USA contact information

That's the reason for my contact with Corgi-UK - to find out what was happening with the promotion in regard to its North American customers. I have been exchanging emails with Mr. Eldridge ( their Director of Global Online Services ) for the past few days and he said he was going to find out what was happening and would let me know as soon as possible. I'll then pass on what I hear from him.

I think this is an encouraging step forward from the parent company, and I certainly cannot find fault with the correspondence thus far.
