Re: 2008 Corgi US Releases Catalog

I sure would like to see a pre-production photo of the Bf 110.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Yes, I will too and will buy it when it comes out. I hope it will be the "shark mouth" version.

The stated livery is the "shark mouth." That picture comes right off of an Ospery Aircraft of the Aces cover. I'll buy the first one for sure (like I did the P-51B). If I buy any later Corgi Bf-110 liveries will depend on the quality of the casting. Hopefully they won't pork it like they did the 'B' Mustang.

I will be getting this one when it comes out, shark mouth paint scheme will make for a interesting looking model.

Re: 2008 Corgi US Releases Catalog

Does anyone know what variant/sub-model Corgi's Bf-110 will be when it is released?

Looking forward to annoying the 'former' Florida Diecast Forum members!!

Re: 2008 Corgi US Releases Catalog

pic says 110C theodore, so early models are coming from Corgi, and thankfully HM has the later marks covered.

There is not that big of a difference between the Bf 110 S,D and E models. Hopefully this will give some options as far as paint schemes for Corgi to work with on their Bf 110s.

Hobby Master makes the Bf-110G2 and Bf-110G4,
IXO makes the Bf-110E-1 (long tail for the life raft),
and Corgi is doing the Bf-110C.

No overlap yet, and a lot of good liveries still to be done.

Corgi model might have the potential to represent not only C, but D & E models also. Just need an F model to complete the Bf 110s. Maybe with some engine nacelle tweaking the HM model could help make the F model.
