Help with POTR

Guys looking for some help. Anyone that has the POTR Lanc can you give me the box size and approximate weight. Is it similar to a Halifax's box? Just found out my father in law is going to Manchester for 3 weeks come April, and was thinking of asking him to pick one up for me and bring it back. I know he has limited baggage so I need a rough estimate as to the size and weight to see if he'll be hit with any extra charges. Thanks

Hell have him bring back half a dozen, we'll pay for the overweight charges.

Was thinking of that but I believe he is flying with a charter and there overweight charges are crazey. He was 6 kg/15 lb over last time and his over weight charge was$120.00. Thats why I need this info.

Re: Help with POTR

Hi kabelace, here are the dimensions;

weight: 3240 grams (around 8lbs)
dimensions: 360 x 150 x 500mm (approx 14.5" x 6" x 20")

hope this helps and that you can get your hands on one - it's a serious piece of excess baggage !!

Take it out and play with it

Leave his clothes behind, make a couple of bucks from the models to buy new stuff. Where there is a will, there is a way.

I know this may sound a bit looney, but he needs to bring this up as cabin baggage in the overhead bin. This must NOT go below the plane. It needs to be packed to be carried, yet be able to be opened for inspection. Good luck!

If tit goes down into the regular cargo hold, there's a good chance it either gets broken or disappears entirely.

Rush - I know this is a typo but I think you're right, some of those baggage handlers are sleazy types!!!

You got that right, 11SQNLDR! I've personally seen these types mishandle my luggage transferring it between planes in Cincinnati. I put NOTHING past them!

I did not think it was a typo, I thought it was wishful thinking by Rush.
