Re: Axis Co-Belligerent aircraft paint schemes.

The FInnish Air Force captured and used one Soviet Hurricane Mk.IIB and some of that mark were cannon armed. I can't find anything online that says whether any of the Soviet Hurricanes had cannons. If they did the model might be closer to correct.

One source lists the captured plane as a Mk.IIA armed with machine guns. That is the only source I found listing the armament of the captured plane.

Finland had some Lysanders too.....

Similar to what I found. Several pictures of Hurricane Mk.1s. I did find reference to a Hurricane Mk.IIB HC-465, but it was machine gun armed. I also found a source which indicated that HC-456 was a Mk.IIA that was captured after it had been forced down and repaired for evalualtions using the wings of a Mk.IIB. Cannot find anything that would support a cannon armed Hurricane in Finnish markings though.

Yep, have some photos of a Lysander in Finnish markings, but came across a real odd one. Found a photo of a French Hanriot H.232.2 trainer in Finnish markings. The Finns purchased three from Germany in 1941. If Corgi would ever get around to putting out their Blenheim, well that would look pretty good in Finnish markings too.

Pray tell then Cruv' - what make/model is it ???????

You got a decent Electric-'mains' compressor to match ? or; using compressed-air cans ?

Brand new and just waiting for something to paint. Probably start on some projects this week or the next.
