Corgi Bf 110 possibilities

One thing I like about Corgi's choice in Bf 110 molds is the model they went with. With basis as a Bf 110, they can easily cover both the D & E models too. The engine nacelles on the C thru E model would provide no real problem. The D & E model would need a different canopy section to reflect the addition of the 57mm armored wind screen. Addition of some ETC bomb racks and MG air intake on nose would pretty much help flesh out the Bf 110E model. It would seem that this mold has quite a bit of possibilities with it. Here is one that would really make for an interesting looking model.

This livery should be considered by Corgi!

Re: Corgi Bf 110 possibilities

Corgi's descision to go with C model does make for some neat paint schemes. The Wespen probably is top dog with regards to favorites. Here are a couple more that I would like to see.

I will be buying the Corgi 110 (love the livery). I hope future releases are a BoB and Wespen livery!

Re: Corgi Bf 110 possibilities

For starters I am hoping that their first Bf 110 actually makes it out some time this sumer, and really hope they make quite a few of them.

I like some of these desert camo Iraqi birds that are on the Wings Palette website:

Re: Corgi Bf 110 possibilities

Between Corgi and HobbyMaster there is the potential to cover all 110 marks 'C' through 'G.' I have more confidence in HobbyMaster actually delivering the goods, but that's only because I'm holding their 'G2/R3' in my hand.

I have the first HM Bf 110 and should have the second one by the first part of next week. At the rate HM is going, they just may have their third Bf 110 out before Corgi gets their first one out. I am still keeping my fingers crossed in hopes that the Corgi 110 will be available before years end. Really want add an earlier version of the 110 to my collection.
