Re: Corgi Bf 110 possibilities

Anyone know if they are planning any Bf 110's in their Showcase series ? 1/100th or 1/144th scale.

Not that I know of, just happy to see Corgi is doing the C model in 1/72nd. Bf 110 has been overlooked for quite a while.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: Corgi Bf 110 possibilities

I too like the idea Corgi picked the Bf110 C. I'm quiet pleased with the livery too. It also helps that it was an Ace's ride (Hans-Jochim Jabs). HM has a nice looking 110, but the schemes did nothing for me. I really hope to see a Bf 110 C-4/B also. As you guys mention, I have always favored planes used in multiple roles- fighter-bomber. I would definitely buy a JU88 in a fighter loadout.

Re: Corgi Bf 110 possibilities

Looking forward to when Corgi posts some pre production photos of their Bf 110C. It sure would be nice if Corgi would consider making a fighter vatiant of the Ju 88 mold.

Re: Corgi Bf 110 possibilities

Yeah, I'm kinda worried about the 110. I find it very odd we have yet to see any pre-production photos. Corgi still has planes on their 2007 list which have yet to be made available. I don't know but I fear the worst. Something is going on with ALL the diecast manufacturer!

Tend to doubt they will cancel the Bf 110, but on the other side, not so sure that it will put out this year. In my opinion, the Bf 110C has so much potential that I do not see how the folks at Corgi could pass up on this one. So many paint schemes and even the possibility of moding mold to make both the D and the E models.

Re: Corgi Bf 110 possibilities

All my purchases of late have been HM. I'm still waiting on two Corgi items from 2007 never mind 2008. I think Corgi will do a good job on this BF-110 whenever it arrives.

Re: Corgi Bf 110 possibilities

Looking forward to the Corgi 110 and its shark mouth livery. I hope they do a better job than they did on the P-51B and it doesn't take as long to arrive as the P-51A.

Seems the flood gates have open for Bf-110s. I now have two HM 110's and the IXO in hand, with another HM and the Corgi on per-order. Still need one carrying bombs, though.
