Re: Corgi Bf 110 possibilities

That is ofcourse if Corgi doesn't screw the mould up like it has with so many others lately. Sorry to burst the bubble, but i sure wouldn't expect too much out of this. Just look what they did to the P-51B and now the A-4.

That's true to a point, but I do like there Catalina, Wellington, Gloster Gladiator, Fairey Swordfish, Westland Lysander, Hawker Hurricane, Ju 88, He 111, Ju 87B, Bf 109, Fw 190s, P-40s and like their Spitfires too (Have yet to pickup one of their Halifaxs). I am also looking forward to their upcoming release of the Bristol Blenheim. Corgi does get quite a bit of flak over the P-51, but not sure if it is quite accurate to base potential future release on such a small sample volume of examples, especially when they have been shown to have some exceptionally nice models. Shoot I would like to see a company out there that put out a complete line of aircraft that no one can find complaint with. So have to say that I am looking forward to the eventual, hopefully this year, release of Corgi's Bf 110 with some degree of optimism.

Well I think their A-4 is looking like its heading towards disaster. And not too many good reviews with the new Mig-29. But who knows, maybe they might actually surprise us

Re: Corgi Bf 110 possibilities

This livery should be considered by Corgi!

I would love to see this one as well. Corgi should also make a matching BF-109E "All Black" nightfighter version to go along with this one since they already have the mould. Both the 109 & 110 would be a big hit I think!

To be honest I pretty much stick with WWII aircraft and not much into jets so have not kept on these reviews. I did read a thread on the UK forum that indicated there might have been some quality control issues with regards to their WWI Richthofen albatross though. Overall though, their latest models look pretty good and hopefully future releases will follow this trend.

Just think if they went this route and added a Ju 88 night fighter to the mix. Now that would make for an interesting looking display.

Re: Corgi Bf 110 possibilities

Not a huge stretch to think that the folks at Corgi would be able to utilize their current Ju 88 mold to make some of the early Ju 88 night fighters.
Some of the image below would make for some nice looking models.

Re: Corgi Bf 110 possibilities

Wow! How nice are those! I have a nightfighter hanging from the ceiling in my den that looks like the 2nd one down.
