| How about a Soviet Hawker Hurricane? Corgi does make a nice looking Hawker Hurricane, and in a nice variety of Commonwealth paint schemes. How about one in livery of those used by the Soviet Union? Currently they have a Spitfire, but it would sure be nice to see a Hurricane with Soviet markings too. It would definitely add some variety to the Hawker Hurricane line up. Found some interesting photos of Soviet Hawker Hurricanes armed with two ShVAK 20mm and a pair of Beresin VB 12.7 mm machine guns in each wing as apposed to the conventional UK setup. This would make for a really unique looking model. ![]() ![]() | |||||||||||||

| Re: How about a Soviet Hawker Hurricane? Corgi made one last year in British markings though (AA32013). I would like to see one in Russian markings at well. I have Easy Models version and it isn't bad either. | |||||||||||||

I would really like to see one with the Soviet armament setup, looks neat. Shoot, also wish Corgi would do a Hurricane with the twelve gun armament.

| Hell yeah, I'd like to see Corgi do a Soviet Hurricane livery in 1/32nd scale! | |||||||||||||

Now that would be an eye catcher. I currently only collect 1/72nd & 1/48th scale, but a 1/32nd scale Hurricane in Soviet livery would sure be hard not to consider picking up. Twelve gun Hurricane in 1/32nd scale would also be a hard one to pass on.

| Re: How about a Soviet Hawker Hurricane? Cruver, Hey there. I'm with you. I'd love to see a Soviet Hurricane. (Okay, really anything Soviet.) However, Corgi is not going to change their mould in any way so if they do one, it will be the machine gun version. | |||||||||||||

I have to agree with you 100% on needing more Soviet aircraft. A machine gun version in Soviet livery would be just fine and I would pick one up on the quick. Not sure why there have not been more Soviet aircraft produced in diecast. Plenty of variety as far as airframes go and a fairly broad selection of paint schemes too.

I was going to do something similar for my HM Bf 110s and put in a replacement resin MG81Z. Item was on sale, but by the time I got to it, Sold Out. Still planing on picking one up at later date.
