Re: With HM's pending release of their 1/32 scale SBD.....

CC, I did some re-arranging last night in anticipation of new releases. Only managed to pick up 1/2 a shelf.

When it comes to these larger models, like the HM 1/32nd scale Dauntless, room definitely gets to be a bit tricky. I have been able to clear a couple of shelves, but that room has pretty much already been spoken for. Even with dwindling shelf space, still considering picking up the second HM Dauntless later this year.

I'm trying to find room for the Corgi heavies coming this year. Do you collect them, like the Halifax and Lanc?

Have neither of those two models, but I sure would like to add the Halifax. Have one of their Wellingtons though.

Yeah I picked up the CC Wellington recently to go with the RCAF version. Which one do you have?
Do you collect much Brit aircraft?

Guess we will never see a heavy in 1/32

None of the options totally applied to me, but I voted for "many" 21st Centuries. I have around five of them, plus one Corgi 1:32.

That works Cap! Five 32nd scale planes from one manufacturer may not seem like that many to you but that's quite a few for the crowd who normally shops TR'U or Walmart for their planes....it's all relative. You just gotta get out there and pick up a couple of Corgi 32's. They're not that expensive if you look on the ol' Bay....try choate76, he usually has some great prices and a good selection.

Post Re: With HM's pending release of their 1/32 scale SBD.....

All my 1:32 planes are Corgi 3x Bf109s Barkhorn, Hartmann & Hackl 2x Spits Bader & Unwin 2x Hurricanes Bader & Lewis & 1x Mossie RAF Benson, the fighters are no problem to display but the Mossie would be better employed outside the house as a gate guardian I do intend to buy the next Mossie due backend of 2008.
As for the future I hope both Corgi & HM expand their 1:32 line up with the likes of a Fw190A & may be a Bf110
